 James Lee Carter, "Jim," 57, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, partner with Butler County Anesthesia Group, died April 12, 2007. Jim served in various capacities for the Kansas Association of Nurse Anesthetists: President, 1985-86; Public Relations Committee, Chair, 1987-88; Government Relations-National Committee, Chair, 1989-99; and Bylaws Committee, 1989-1992; Chair, 1989-90 and 1991-92. Says Tom McKibban, CRNA, MS, AANA past president (2003-2004), " Jim was to be married to a nursing school sweetheart on Friday, April 20. Jim will be missed by his many friends."
